XMP3 info extras not working

hi, i just got an XMP3 a few days ago, the extra info stuff worked for a day and now its not. under the settings i can only select stocks when before it had sports to. anyone else have this problem.

My old Airware and the Tao have a mode where they would display nothing, stocks, or sports. I think the XMP3 may have a simular setting. If you are stocks you may have hit that button to switch.

the only option i have is stocks, sports is not there.

Have you added the teams you want the extra info for? :scratch:

Menu > Settings > Info Extras > Sprots

Then add your favorite teams

To make sure you alerts are on...

Menu >Settings > Edit Alerts > All Alerts: On

like i said it worked for a day, but now it does not give me the option to select sports. only stocks. all alerts are on. on the main screen, bottom it says to add sports go to Menu > Settings > Info Extras > Sports
but it just has stocks.

i have done that a few times, i also did a restore. its only a few days old so i think i will see if i can get a replacement.

ok i got a new radio from best buy, with still the same problem. is sports extras even working. cause it worked for a day, then for two days it was saying no info available . i turn off sports extra. since then its not even an option to select. on both old and new radio.

I can try mine. I never use it to check scores. Only for game alerts

My Tao has always on occassion said 'no info available'. But it comes back in a little while. I don't have an XMP3 but it seems odd that it would be a defective unit given it has happened on 2 different units. Are you getting terrestrial coverage or sat signal? Is it docked? These may play a factor or there could be a setting somewhere on the XMP3 which turns it on or off.

It goes down every now and again. And it is currently down on my Tao. So that would explain it. You could call XM.

Most XM radios do. Even my old RoadyXT had it.

I'm not as experienced with XM units as I am with Sirius ones. I never really even touch Cpt. BMF's old unit hhh so I'm not familiar with all of the features. I actually just usually stays parked at 202.
