You shoulda had them lop out a couple extra lb's while they were in there.

I was at 197 this morning.
Hit the treadmill.
Ate too much sushi for dinner.

I think now that I'm in the mid 220's I may have hit a wall. I only lost 1.6lbs this past week. I may need to make some changes to my routine and I've already started. The past 2 days I've bumped up my total walking mileage to 9+ per day. I think I can keep that up at least for awhile. Today I was good with eating too. I only had one meal around 4:30. Not sure if I can keep that up. Usually I eat around 1 or 2 and then again around 7 before my night walk. I make sure not to eat again after my evening walk. IDK, we'll see what happens. Short term goal right now is to get to 220 or under. Today I was 226.2.

223.4 today.

A couple days ago was the first time I really noticed that I look thinner. Now I know I've lost a ton of weight since 8.2019 when I started but looking in the mirror I still have way more of a gut than I'd like. I was walking around walmart and saw myself in a freezer section door and thought, "huh, I look pretty good." So that was nice.

Everyone tells me I should feel healthier but I don't feel any different. My walking endurance is certainly much improved but that's about it. I didn't feel sluggish at 300 and I feel the same at 223.4.

I've been good about only eating 1 meal a day so far. To fight off being annoyingly hungry all day I drink a giant coffee and usually an energy drink in the morning. That keeps me good until about 1 and then I'll have a snack of some sort of fruit. I then eat a big meal at around 2 or 3. After that I sometimes have more fruit before my night walk and I never eat after the walk.

I'm getting there.

I haven't worn my Pepsi Seiko SKX009 in months (I'll likely ramble about that in the watch thread) and when I put it on today I realized that my wrist has shrunk. I had to tighten it to the next hole up. That was a nice surprise.

5'8". I think my proper weight is between 165 and 170. Not many people are at their proper weight.

If you search height/weight charts there are a million of them and most of them show slightly different target weights, but usually the ideal weight spans more than just 5 lbs. Like for me most of them say it's like 145-190 lbs. 145 seems kinda insane though.

According to the CDC BMI chart, I should weigh between 122 and 164. I can't imagine being at the low end, unless I'm in a casket. But 164 is where I got the 165 - 170 from.

197 again this morning.

At 6'-4" I don't look overweight. (Barely any gut.)
According to the egg-heads at Harvard, my BMI is 23.98.
18.5 - 24.9 is supposed to be normal......
BMI Calculator - Harvard Health
If I had any reasonable muscle mass, I'd easily be in the overweight category.
BMI scales are a joke.

I still want to lose another 8 or 9 pounds.

BOOM!!!

220 even today!!!

According to pretty much all the height/weight charts I constantly ramble about, I am now officially overweight!

HAHAHAHA.

It's kinda funny to me that I had to lose 80 pounds to be considered overweight.

Now the short term goal is to go down in 5lb increments. The next huge goal is 200 and after that, I'm not sure if I'll ever get there, but I'd love to be 185 or at least in the 180's before I consider my weightloss journey completely accomplished.

Are you starting to get your energy back?
I remember Letterman and some other people saying that they hadn't realized how much less energy they had till after their bypasses.
