No, I'm not going to write this up, as it's really just Manson taking phone calls in sort of an "Ask Me Anything" format.

But... today, he talked about Ned. Apparently, Ned is based off Manson's father-in-law, but only in looks. The real guy is from the Midwest. I felt like calling in and asking who the old guy was, as Bubba mentioned him on the show a while back. I was going to also ask about if Manson really did leave during the porn star appearances because he was a family man and wanted to be loyal to Donna OR partially because Manson didn't want to slip into Ned. Another thing to ask would have been if the court situation with Hootie tape was what blew the kayfabe up or how long they had planned on keeping the jig running.

Yeah, it's apparent to me that Ned is their way of getting things talked about that they couldn't normally talk about, such as chickens and 25 Cent's huge manhood and all.

It would be fun to go back and listen to Ned's first appearance. Sadly, I have a feeling that many of the old crew (Joe the SuperMark, Scout and Big Gulp, Ned's Testicles aka Roger, others) have moved on. Yeah, Brandon the Quad still calls in, but whatever happened to the rare caller known as Travis? That guy was awesome...if it wasn't a bit.

Joe the SuperMark occasionally calls in, mainly to give Bubba updates on his upcoming trial on manslaughter charges as part of an insurance scam.

Scout and Big Gulp don't call in as often as they used to, but they are still around, too.

I think I remember hearing about that trial. I can't blame him for the low profile.

It's weird that there seems to be very little crossover of the fanbases. Scout and Big Gulp seem to be Howard fans, but they seem to be the rarity...then again, they *were* rivals.

I also don't listen to the FM show, so I have zero idea what goes on there...
