Makes me wonder who get the better end of the Joe Torre Deal...

I don't think you'll see Manny on the mound anytime soon, like you saw Jose Conseco...:right:

:)

National League

East - Mets
Central - Cubs
West - Diamondbacks
Wild Card - Dodgers

American League

East - Yankees
Central - Indians
West - Angels
Wild Card - Red Sox

World Series - unfortunately, another Subway Series, Mets vs. Yankees...Yanks 4-2
Since we're nearly at the All-Star break, it's as good a time as ever to look back at our predictions. I bow my head in shame with my Arizona and Cleveland picks.

It's also interesting to revisit those odds on the first page. If you put some money on the Rangers to win the World Series at 60/1 odds, or even the Rockies at 75/1, you've gotta be pretty happy at this point.

If the playoffs were to start right now, your matchups would be...

Red Sox (AL East) vs. Tigers (AL Central)
Rangers (AL West) vs. Yankees (AL Wildcard)

Dodgers (NL West) vs. Cardinals (NL Central)
Phillies (NL East) vs. Giants (NL Wildcard)

It's too bad Nolan Ryan didn't come to the Angels. They really need a good pitching coach :worried:

My predictions:

AL East Winner/Wildcard will be NYY and BOS (in some order)
AL Central: Minnesota
AL West: Angels

NL East: Philly
NL Central: Somebody other than the Cubs
NL West: Please don't make it the Dogers
NL Wildcard: Please anybody but the Cubs or Dogers or Braves

The Blue Jays will be effectivly out of it come May but will keep just close enough for us fans to start to dream. Then August they will start a run and look like they might pull it off --- then they will hit a critical series and lose 3 out of 4 and be quickly eliminated.
AL East: RIGHT
AL Central: Still possible
AL West: Still possible
AL Wildcard: RIGHT

NL East: RIGHT
NL Central: RIGHT
NL West: AUGHHH!
NL Wildcard: RIGHT

Blue Jays: different script - same result.
