Amsterdam in the Rockies
Oh lovely, FOX is doing the game again, that means Buck and McCarver are calling it, and the Glee cast or some Idol dweeb will be doing the national anthems. I think I'll listen on the radio.

The Rockies or Red Sox aren't in it this year so I don't have a particular rooting interest either way. Makes it easier to follow that way.

I'd like to see the Reds & Rangers in the World Series.

The Phillies, Braves, and Red have all won championships in the past 20yrs. The Giants need to step it up :)

Rangers and Rays...not a surprise they get the afternoon games. Too bad, I would have liked to see it.

The one scenario that I've wanted for three years has finally come to fruition; the Giants young arms get to pitch in the post season. Obviously there's no telling how they will fare, but I'm excited to see what they can do on the big stages.

Oh...and Mat Latos needs to shut the fuck up about the Padres being more of a "team" than the Giants and their hired mercenaries. Look at our starting rotation and our closer and the 23 year old behind the dish looking to become ROY. Latos...you sour grape eating douche.

Wow! Roy Halladay pitches a no-hitter for the Phillies beating the Reds 4-0.

Halladay...just off the charts-freakin' awesome. Sorry Goreds...that's an unbelievable way to endure the first trip to the playoffs in fifteen years.

But...in reality...it's just a win. At least, that's how the Reds have to look at it.

They talked about that in the locker room tonight. We have had games/series that could have killed us this year but we went on win streaks after them.

Examples: Blew TWO 7-1 leads in the 9th.
Got swept by Philly: all close last bat wins for them.

Got swept by STL in August.

I am still enjoying it. Oswalt may seem like a softball pitcher on Friday after this game tonight. ;)
