Good to see the Pirates back in the playoffs. Hopefully the Royals will follow suit next year...

Sure hope my Braves get over that humiliating beating last night! We got our asses kicked- gonna be another late night for me with both Falcons & Braves playing. Gonna be a Red Bull night!

The Red Birds tie up their series at Pittsburgh with a 2-1 win- Back to St Louis for the deciding game Wed night.

Still 2 more games today!

Damn, looks like the Pirates are done.:( Sick of seeing the same teams in the WS year after year. Time for a salary cap in baseball. Parity in the NFL made the popularity explode. Baseball would be a lot more fun if every team had an equal chance of signing great players.

I've never agreed with the need for a salary cap ...

There are some teams with some really low payrolls in this years playoffs (playoffs?).

Some great scouting & top notch organizations are making great teams, unlike how my favorite teams. The Angels throw money at players that aren't hitting, instead of getting & keeping pitchers that can pitch :mad:
