If I ever find the time, I'll compile a list of the movies you've reviewed, and then we'll see.
I have a list. Here's July (so far):

Once Upon a Time in America - mainstream
Bad Black - obscure
Natural Born Killers - mainstream
A Clockwork Orange - mainstream
Stuber - mainstream
Top Knot Detective - obscure
Crawl - mainstream
Alligator - mainstream
Piranha - mainstream
CHULAS FRONTERAS + DEL MERO CORAZÓN - obscure
Darlin' - obscure
Valley of the Dolls - mainstream
Booksmart - mainstream
The Faculty - mainstream
From Dusk Til Dawn - mainstream
The Art of Self-Defense - mainstream

So, 75% are mainstream films.

Does it matter?

I like reading meme's film reviews, whether familiar or not.
Me too, it's more interesting than hearing about another blockbuster sequel. And his descriptions are good.
Does it matter?
Yes and no. As I said above, there's nothing wrong with your taste in movies. I have a similar taste in music. I love classics from the 60s and 70s, but I also love every decade after, especially non-pop music. Today, most of my new music discovery comes from Sirius XMU. Some of the stuff they play becomes mainstream, or is played in commercials or soundtracks. But most of it remains obscure to most people. I'm aware of that, and I accept it.

So just accept it.

这真是太傻了 – and, by calling for a boycott, these protestors are giving the live-action Mulan a lot of free publicity. 假人!
