2021 Movies and TV Shows

Are you sure you want to watch a movie about a zombie apocalypse caused by a vaccine to another virus? Doesn't it also happen in 2021? I remember that XM has some product placement in the movie. I guess they didn't realize it would be SiriusXM by now.

We had STARZ at the hotel in Kingson last weekend. I think they were doing a Bill Murray marathon. We saw Stripes and then a movie we have never seen "St. Vincent". It was very good. I thought Bill did a good job portraying Vincent. Cool story too.

In the movie the disease happened due to a vaccine that cured cancer. There was a whole lot of that movie I forgot.

Now you're going to dive me crazy btw. A few weeks ago I saw something that almost perfectly mimicked our current situation but I forget what it was.

I've now moved on to the new season of The Expanse on Prime. Watching a modern sifi show in 4K is cool.

You're right about Contagion...and it's a really good movie (freaking gwyneth paltrow infects us all) but that's not it. I saw that one a long time ago.

Dustin Holfman did something in "Outbreak".

And Steven King gave us "The Stand".

I don't think either of those is exactly like what has happened now.

But I'm pretty sure this was more modern, made before COVID of course, but not as old as those.

Some disease wipes out like an eighth of the population and then civil wars start and the USA kinda falls. You get to go into the White House that has fallen but is now the base of operations for the good guys. It's an exaggerated mix of both COVID and the insurrection.

I bought a few days ago it cause there was a sale and it was only $8. Plus it just got a patch to run at 4K, 60fps on Series X.

Even in the thumbnail the capitol is on fire. It's eerie how close some dumb game that came out a few years ago is to reality. Exaggerated for entertainment purposes of course, but still.

My wife has it on a lot. She likes having on at night because it helps her go to sleep.

It's a miracle how many cases can be solved by a mass spectrometer.

The modern version of A Star is Born is a great movie.
