I'm thinking that he's either a San Francisco transplant originally from NY; or he's a New York State "f-boy", which is probably best not to discuss here.

When Taylor Swift releases an album with 14 songs, all 14 will debut on the Hot 100 in the same week, usually in positions #1 through #14. Then in the following week, they all drop several positions. Thus, each song reaches its peak position in its first week on the chart.

How could Mister Hectic not know this Tom Jones song? Daughter Of Darkness was written by Geoff Stephens (lyrics) and Les Reed (music). It reached #13 on the Hot 100 in June 1970 and got to #12 on the Boss 30 of KHJ in Los Angeles. Stephens also wrote The Crying Game, a 1964 UK hit for Dave Berry. In 1992, The Crying Game became a movie theme song and a #15 hit for Boy George. The Crying Game soundtrack album includes both versions of the song.

I'm Into Something Good, written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King, was first recorded in April 1964 by Earl-Jean McCrea. From 1960 to 1965 she was a member of the Cookies, whose hits include Chains, Girls Grow Up Faster Than Boys and the grammatically incorrect Don't Say Nothin' Bad About My Baby. Earl-Jean's granddaughter, Kayla Brianna Smith, is an actor and R&B singer. This reached #38 on the Hot 100 in August 1964:
