This is another one of those generational indicators, as even my kids were too old for some of these.#1 Belle. That's maybe my all time favorite movie or at worst in my top 5. She's as cool as Batman and that is really hard to do.
#2 Nala from The Lion King.
#3 Moana cause the songs in that are awesome.
#4 Ariel. She's great and I'd like to walk on land someday too.
Well Moana is clearly after my time but I appreciate that it's awesome and it has Jermaine from Flight of the Conchords as a giant flamboyant crab bad guy who sings one of the songs. This is another one of those generational indicators, as even my kids were too old for some of these.
Fun facts about the Disney Monorails. They were made by a Canadian company named Bombardier and have been running for a long time. At Disney World they use the Mark VI version. Disneyland uses the Mark VII. Since Disneyland is so much smaller their monorail system is more of a ride in and of itself.the monorail will remain closed.
everybody look left, everybody look right, no matter where you look i'm standing in the spotlight. My son wore out the VHS copy of Lion King at my mother-in-laws. He would watch it over and over and over. Now he can't stand it. Too much of a good thing I guess.
I have the original VHS of The Little Mermaid. I also have one of the original movie posters. By "original," I mean the image of the castle with one spire that is actually a glistening gold penis. Disney executives approved the artwork. They obviously didn't look at it very closely. The artist, Ron Dias, put the phallus in as a joke. After he got fired, he probably no longer thought it was funny. If you have the original VHS and/or the original movie poster, don't get rid of them! They're valuable!Did you guys have those big white VHS boxes for those movies? Those things had cool artwork on them.
