You never heard of Chick-Fil-A a few years ago?
No. When I first saw it in print, I didn't know how to pronounce it. Same with "Hobby Lobby", didn't know they existed until they made some statement about gay marriage or something.

There are a lot of regional chains that previously stayed in one region. but more recently many chains have gone national. Dunkin Donuts (soon to be just Dunkins) was only around here for a long time. Cracker Barrel came here about 15 years ago. I only know about Bob Evans from going to Florida.

Hell, even Wal-Mart wasn't up here until the 90s.

When I was living in Houston in the late 90's. I remember Houston getting it's first Krispy Kreme in the Galleria area. Once I moved to Phoenix, several years later they started popping up here and then they all closed down for no reason and just came back like couple of years ago.

Just like Baja Fresh they closed a few years ago and starting to make a comeback here.

We didn't have a Krispy Kreme up here until sometime in the 90s. They opened one outside of Boston, and it closed about 5 years ago.
They opened up here early 2000s. Closed about 5 years later.

Never been to chick filet. Never heard about them until they became all homophobic.
