Apple Back-to-School promo starts 6/16

I think this was a topic of talk a few weeks back, and it looks like it's coming soon - No free iPods anymore. $100 gift cards this year.

I was waiting for the back to school promo so I could get a free Ipod. Now thats out I think I will just get one from Amazon. You can usually get them for $50 to $100 cheaper and you don't have to pay tax. That will save me $134 plus whatever discount they have on them. That 27 iMac will look good in our office!!!!

I don't see this promo as attractive as the free iPod. If you aren't rooted in Apple ecosystem the for App Store gift card just isn't that appealing.

I agree I would pick it up from Amazon and save a few bucks and tax.

The promo is not as good as I had hoped for, but the Baby needed a new iMac. It came in Tuesday, but I am on the road till Friday.
