Too bad that 890 is another moronic talk station these days. However, they *kinda* brought back WLS to 94.7 some years back. John Landecker, Dick Biondi and prevously Fred Winston were/are there.

That's right kingchuck, I have heard WLS-FM before on the squeezebox. Nice to hear the old jingle but way too many commercials. Of course the real WLS had commercials too but those were cool commercials like for 7-UP the Uncola, Coke and other teen products.
I liked all the guys you mentioned and Dick Sainte, who also passed several years ago. That was a good era for Hits radio. Plus at night, I could pick up WABC and got to hear Bruce Morrow in his prime. Not on that Panasonic though.

In remembrance of the great Superjock Larry Lujack, SuperCFL & Musicradio WLS, I am bringing back my Panapet radio. Set at AM 89.

My very first radio was a Mickey Mouse radio with a mono one ear headphone :)

Thanks Aaron. I'll see if I can find some time to update the 2013 first post today.

Congratulations on staying off the 2013 list everybody!
Good work!

EDIT:
I made it up to May. I'll try to get more done over the next couple of days.
