I'll second that one, she was the only good part of that show for a while.

I'm interested in why you didn't like the 2nd record. It's pretty similar to the first - maybe just a case of you not finding the songs as strong as the songs on "Play Deep"?

And things definitely got more hit or miss after that, but there's good stuff on all those records. Their last couple CD's they self-released, & go for craaaaaaaazy money.

In the 1950s, the dancing team of Marge and Gower Champion appeared on dozens of television variety series and in several musicals including Mr. Music, Show Boat, Lovely To Look At, Give A Girl A Break, Three For The Show, Jupiter's Darling and Everything I Have Is Yours. Marge won an Emmy award in 1975 for choreographing the TV-movie Queen Of The Stardust Ballroom. Gower died in 1980.
