It's a good song, one of many they have. I just don't think anyone is so deprived of DMB music that they need this channel.
They announced it on the Love Channel tonight that Yacht Radio takes over the Love Channel starting tomorrow at Noon Eastern time. Probably will last most of the Summer.
Love Channel will still be available on the app.
We listen to Yacht Rock Radio on the app at home. It's decent background music, but they only play like 8 songs, and 6 of them have Michael McDonald in them.
The Mount Rushmore of Yacht Rock would include:

The Mrs is quite sad that it's ending. I put it on in the car for her when we were coming home from dinner last night.
Had Yacht Rock radio on at dinnertime (online ch 311), and they played like 7 Michael-Macdonald-involved songs in succession. It included: Christopher Cross, Steely Dan, Nicollet Larson, Kenny Loggins, Doobie Brothers, and of course Michael Macdonald. I think they're screwing with me.

For Super Bowl weekend, SiriusXM Channel 30 – are they ever going to bring back The Loft? – is playing "Tailgating Anthems, stadium shaking songs." And then the Dave Matthews Band payola channel will return. *Sigh* Here is a small sample of the playlist:

Remember when they would do the limited-run channels on the regular channel on satellite, but keep the original channel "as-is" on the app/website?

The Loft *is* on the app, so it's not totally gone...but yeah, if you have an older plug-and-play... yeah. I'm not sure if it's on my Onyx Plus or not.
