Channel 9: Show 1

I was able to make some screen captures from the first Channel 9 show. I'll add them in a couple of posts at a time...

The first screen capture is Stuttering John and Baba Booey(though just Boy Gary at this point)watching Stuttering John's interviews.

The next screen capture is Stuttering John interviewing Alison Steele(The Night Bird), in this shot John has accidentally spit on Alison right after a heavy stutter.

Here's Howard pulling off a great prank on Jessica Hahn. Howard had a hidden camera in Jessica's dressing room. Howard went into her dressing room to tell her about what he had planned for her appearance(which was all a hoax)and to calm Jessica down. Howard wanted to see if he could "get her" if he pressed the matter. As it turned out, he could.

The next shot is from when Howard explained the prank to Jessica and pointed to where the hidden camera was.

Howard did a "Brother" fax machine commercial, here is a close up of Howard while he's writing on the bald head of the camera man. Sorry, the screen capture of the bald head didn't turn out so good.

After the commercial Howard did a segment where they brought out two of Jessica's ex-boyfriends. The two people they brought out were not her ex-boyfriends, but rather Ted the Janitor(I think)and a very boyish looking Fred the Elephant Boy.

They ended the segment by doing a commercial using a cardboard stand up of Dick Lewis. Howard joked that he was sure Jessica could handle all of "Big Dick Lewis", and he was right as it clearly shows right here.

Howard brought out Richard Belzer and tried to humiliate the "Belz" by playing video of his wife's soft core porno. Belzer didn't seem to mind. The video of his wife's porno was unwatchable due to the mosaic effect that was needed to be used to make it suitable for broadcast. Belzer stayed in the studio while they did a quick hit of the news, which included video of the Gay Pride Parade. After the news they did the first of what would be many, many, many Snapple commercials.

After the Snapple ad they had Billy West come in to do the voice of the Zodiac Killer. This effect on Billy's face was one that the Conan O'Brien show would use as a corner stone in their comedy bits between interviews.

Everyone was goofing on the artists rendering of the Zodiac Killer suspect. Howard had other black entertainers set up beside the artists rendering. They did an add for a Hackensack Ford dealership and then ended the show by bringing in the guy who said he could blow smoke through his eyes, that guy of course was Kenneth Keith Kallenbach.
