OH H.....EYE OH
Big 40 "Turkeys" of the Decade
To celebrate the great American holiday of Thanksgiving, '80s on 8 is serving up the Big 40 “Turkeys†of the Decade! And you decide what songs we play: Which hits of the decade qualify as “turkeys?†You know, the ones you hate to admit you love, but still can't believe were ever hits; the novelty songs you still sing out loud when alone. Cast your vote by emailing 80son8@siriusxm.com. Then listen in as the original MTV VJs count them down Thanksgiving weekend.

Sounds like a good idea....I think.

Not a bad 'countdown'. Completely surprised Physical was not #1. Even more surprised it did not make the countdown.

That was an interesting fun countdown... Agree with you on 'Physical'... I liked the majority of songs on there, I must say.

Same here.

I had thought the countdown might be filled with Paula Abdual, Tiffany, Whiney Houston, We are the World or Endless Love.

I agree with some, but not others.
As cheesy as some of those songs sound today, most of them were pretty big hits. With a few exceptions, most of those songs sounded good in context, but just did not stand the test of time.

Agreed. There were some good tracks there. The Funky Town cover was 80's awesome with some really good guitar.

I eliminated the non-70's tunes. Remember, they edit the crap out of the show for no reason.
