Another year, another 365 days of trying to be less fat.

Good luck everyone!

On my personal journey, that I keep droning on about, I am down around 40 lbs since I started on 8.9.19. I want to keep goin in this direction. I hope to get down to around 220 at some point. With the progress I made in less than half of 2019 I think I have a shot of getting to that goal in 2020. We'll see.

It's time for my second 3 mile walk of the day. I ate like a pig yesterday and I'm back up to 260 today. Moe's is so tempting after a rough day at work.

Need to do another 3 miles to feel less guilty about that.

I am an oink oink pig. I have eaten like a cow for 2 days straight now. Not my normal bad food but just a lot of food. Felt so guilty I walked 7 miles today but it probably won't help.

Gotta pull myself together.

I was at 188 this weekend. I need to lose 15 lbs. On Tuesday morning, I was 186, and I started my travel to Huntsville, AL for business. I thought I'd lose a few pounds, because I'd only be eating at limited times, and I'd have no access to snacking, desserts, etc.

Not so. The big meals with the coworkers were dinner the 1st night - Hildegard's German Cuisine; and lunch the next day - Dickeys Barbecue Pit. Plus the hotel had a complementary breakfast buffet - fritattas, sausage biscuits & gravy, bacon, sausage, grits, sausage. And the other meals were grab 'n go at the airports. 187 this morning.

I have a belly tire that I hate.

I will get rid of it.

Just walked 3.5 miles. Got my steps in for the day.

I'll be joining the party here soon. I'm now at the highest weight I've been at in my life. 260.

My doctor recommended -- and I've been thinking about -- intermittent fasting. Basically a fasting period of 16 hours, and eat for 8 hours (my plan is skip breakfast and lunch and eat dinner). The most important thing during that period, HYDRATION, LOTS. OF. WATER!!

For starters I think I'll try it 2-3 days a week and then expand it as I go along. I also joined a gym.

But isn't that average for a 7' tall guy?

I already do the intermittent fasting. I skip eating for the 12 hours each day that I'm sleeping or starting out. If I could just sleep all day, I'd be thin as a rail.

So far all i've eaten since waking up is a 6 oz Yoplait cup.

I'm now going to have 2 hard boiled eggs.

I'm 251 right now and I am determined to get to 250 this week. That will be a milestone.

My second day this week eating only a yoplait cup. Today I'm stepping it up and not having any food after work. Hopefully when I wake up I will be at my goal of 250 or even better 249.8.

I also need to make sure to not blow it this weekend.
