I have the 2019 Samsung Galaxy A70. It has Gorilla Glass 3. Do you really need a screen protector with Gorilla Glass? I seem to find all sorts of opinions around the internet so what you you guys think?

My thought is to put a tempered glass protector on the thing. I had one on it but noticed a few bubbles pop up yesterday that I couldn't get out so I took it off. Not sure if I'm going to put another one on it.

My Note 9 is the first phone I haven't put a protector on yet.
I was pretty nervous at first, but had forgotten about it since.
So far so good.

This is an example of things going backwards. You can't get a plastic screen protector anymore. My galaxy S9 has like Gorilla glass 5, but all they sell is glass protectors. So I'm going to protect my thick, sturdy screen with a paper thin piece of glass that won't stay on, and kills the touch sensitivity. I'm using nothing now.

I don't use one for my last 3 iPhones. Never had a problem (knocks on wood). Use bumper case that is all.

My wife uses a sceen protector. But she shoves it inside her purse where it rubs against the 2500 other things she keeps in there. My phone just goes in my pocket.

In over a decade of using iPhones, I've never used a screen protector. Only use a minimal bumper case.
I bought one of those today for $7. The one I have on it now looks old and used so I got a clear one that is less thick but has reinforcements on each corner.
