Nice! Mrs Scotch's uncle lived in Coronado, but by the time I had the chance to visit, he moved to Jupiter FL. Still nice, but not the same.

That order came too late. The Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Seattle Museum of Pop Culture have already been built. Of course they are not federal buildings, but still.......

Pneumonia. At least that would have been some sort of excuse.

My freshmen year, I did a project that was based on an analogy of a coffee maker. The assignment was to come up with an analogy that was appropriate to a building type to help you generate the form of the building. The idea was that the more obvious what the inspirations was, the less likely it was going to be a decent design. It didn't look like a coffee maker. I think I got a B+ or maybe an A-. It was good, for a freshman project, but not great.
