I got the 6 months offer earlier, i’ll Probably get on that after work. That $15.99 select might be enough since I don’t listen to Stern or the NFL, I’ll have to see what else comes with it.

Not really. My wife just bought a new car, so she gets 4 months free. Then she can get an additional 6 for like 30 bucks. It's nice having it in the car to be sure but not at 22 clams a month. I use my mom's sub on the app for free.

I did re-up on the 6 for $30 then $15.99 after that. Stern and the NFL are of no interest to me so no worries that I'll be missing anything. And I never really streamed to begin with.

That's 10 months for $30, right? The 4+6? At one month at $3 each, I'll take that deal.

Ya she probably will get the 6 month deal, but year 2 forget about it. We're not in the car long enough to make that payoff. The new car payment is where the money goes. Then again she loves ch. 33 so maybe.

I just paid approx $150 USD for a year of the "ultimate-whatever it's called package" and streaming and I'm supposedly getting an email for a free Amazon Echo Dot, but since these reps can barely speak English, who knows.

I believe it was $60 for 6 months or double for a year (plus taxes and fees, duh.)

I'll take that deal.

Edit...and because I'm in really no hurry to get the thing, Amazon also hooked me up with $5 from their Whole Foods thing.

Beware of the auto re-billing ahead of the expiration of your current credit card paid agreement. This is after the initial subscription expires. I was preparing to sell my 2013 Fusion in the spring. It was tied to a 12 month $99 deal I worked out during the annual negotiation dance with a SXM CSR over the phone in the last thirty days. I had successfully worked out an agreement the past four years, but SXM tried to re-up me for the full 200 dollar plus amount. Luckily my card had expired.

That's when they tried to get nasty and demanded I agree to a re-billing and blocked me from changing my options or adding (kept it separate for a reason) to my SL2 lifetime account. Fed up with their arrogance, I blocked phone calls and resisted e-mails and written correspondence for a 6 month/$30 and a 5/25.

I bought a 2018 Edge on October 1st. When the six month sub expires I will send a money order to the Louisville office:

Sirius XM Radio Inc.

You got an SL2 still working? Impressive. Good idea, I'll check the date of the 4 month expiration date. Thanks for the tip.

Well the mazda 4 months new car is a month away. We got a deal for 6 months at 30 bucks. It's the select plan. The wife doesn't need stern, just first wave and 40's junction, and maybe some lithium. I only pay for my grandma's select plan right now. Sounds like she'll take the deal.

If all you have to do is call in and say you want to unsubscribe to get a deal, why don't they just show lower prices to begin with?

Over the weekend my free trial ended. I know I signed up for all-access deal and when I tune in to listen to Howard Stern. I was getting an unauthorized channel pop-up. So I had to deal with SXM customer service and they f'ed up on there end, by giving me XM Select. I made them fix there error and as courtesy they gave me an extra free month of trail.

Once again SXM customer service are still idiots.

Quick Update: I do get a free Amazon Echo, I'll probably use it as a hockey puck.

A friend who bought a used car with a sirus option got an offer today. It's 5 bucks for either news sports and talk, or mostly music packages. No select or all access. Also, you have to be a current pandora sub with a sirius radio that is deactivated. HAHA!! How many of those are out there??

That's why I try to do everything online whenever possible. You generally get the same deals on the website that would through 'Customer Service'.

Now Sirius is offering 6 for $50 for All-Access online. I'd have to think about that.

That's a good deal. I use it on my phone mostly, and one computer. My other computer locks up every time I use it. But the app works great for the dough.

As long as they don't get lazy and quit looking for ways to stay relevant and keep their delivery methods up to date, they should be able to stick around.
