Will be a lot of bad Sundays if Brees is out.

Looks like it may be serious according to various reports. That is the biggest issue with being an old QB. Not loss of performance but succeptibility to injury and recovery time.

I know the line I posted was -1.5 but on the site I use to bet, the Seahawks are giving 2.5 to the Falcons in Atlanta.

Seattle -2.5 is my lock of the week, even with giving the extra 1 point.

The dome in Atlanta is hardly an advantage when there will be no crowd to get that place rocking.

I'll be lousy with candles in no time if this keeps up.

Really though, I have never cashed out. I've used the same site (sportsbook.ag) for like 10+ years and I only ever bet football. I think my all time biggest bet was around $30 but usually I put $5 on various games. At the end of each season I just let the money sit there until the start of the next season. I've had some scares where I got my balance down to around $10 but I haven't had to add cash to it in many years. I think the highest I ever got it was around $150.

Jax beating the Colts last week was telling. Rivers has had a great career but I think he's done. Also I think the Pack are going to be very good this year so the Vikings losing to them in week 1 is not that shocking.

This week I'm going with Seattle -4 over Dallas. I think Seattle is the best team in the conference and Dallas had a fun game game last week but they won't be able to keep up this time.

Seattle had me nervous there for a minute last week but came through in the clutch. I'm rolling with them again in week 4!

However, I do think Carolina is way better than I anticipated going into the season so I'm taking:

Carolina +2.5 at Atlanta.

Matter of fact, I think the Panthers will win outright and I bet the moneyline on this game.
