Picked up on Billy Joel when I was just a little shit. One of those artists, along with the Eagles, that I always heard on the radio. Bought 'Glass Houses' as one of my first purchases, and have been a fan since.

Originally started listening to Lyle Lovett back when I was listening to KBCO in Boulder, CO, who played his stuff (as well as a few other artists on this list) well before anyone else. Back before they were bought by Clear Channel, you can pretty much figure out the rest.

Another one discovered thanks to KBCO, who played him quite regularly.

I always thought early on that the look was kinda quirky, but once you paid more attention to the music, you found some gems.

Discovered back in the 90's when I was listening to country radio 90 percent of the time (when it was still listenable). KYGO 98.5 was the big station in Denver (Still is, at least to the extent people still listen to the radio).
