What does it do?

Can you give us some detail on the steps you're taking and what the screen is showing?
It does nothing. I power the lynx on and only the siriusxm splash screen shows and it stays there. I was talking about the steps to put it into recovery mode or boot sequence.

I haven't done this in a couple of years, so I'm not 100% on what it looks like in order, but you should end up at an Android menu screen of some sort.

If you hold the power & right volume for several seconds it should look something like this:
(Slight chance it's the left volume)

Keep holding until it changes to something other than the splash.

Try pulling the battery and SD card. Leave the battery out for 20 or 30 seconds, and don't put the SD card back and try it again.

I've been meaning to clear the cache on mine, but haven't had a chance.

Keep us posted.

Thanks but every time I try this it powers off, I've tried doing it with each the left and right along with power button but it powers down.

You can try SiriusXM Advanced Customer Support. There's a 1-800 number floating around on the forum. These are the support people can help out the best.
