I think what Zuck is actually saying, is that Facebook will increasingly become a platform where a user will share/communicate with one other user; like Twitter or Instagram, or any number of existing apps. It seems unnecessary.

Or email, or texts, or phone calls, or god forbid, actually talking to people.

No clue what the angle is that allows him to monetize a network of private messages.
There's nothing about FB that would entice me to pay a subscription fee.

Facebook, And Messenger!, Quit working for me. Every time I log in it shows me a blank screen with no news feed. SO I deleted it, and will stay off it for good. People want to get a hold of me, they know where they can find me.

A Facebook executive says there is no evidence any employees accessed or abused these passwords. Should we believe him? After all, this is the same company that shared 87,000,000 users' personal information with a political polling firm; shared personal information with Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Netflix and other companies; and has been hit with huge fines in Europe and the UK for violating privacy regulations and is facing huge fines in the US.

Facebook should just start putting everyone's user names and passwords on giant billboards so everyone who drives by can see them.
