I'm off till the 2nd. My first day of vacation was the 18th.


Oh.....And I ate WAY too much at the chop house tonight.
It was excellent, but I'm regretting it a bit at the moment.

I'm working but not working. I'm up in Minnesota but we have no deliveries to make until Wednesday.

I've had a Youtube yule log going all day on my tablet at my dad's place. I used to think they were dumb, and I still do, but it's kinda nice too. Trick is you gotta get one that doesn't loop.

(Also, I plan to produce a pretty sweet yule log a few hours after my Christmas dinner.)

One of the perks of being at the same place for 35 years. But actually, our place is on holiday from Dec 21 through Jan 1. And many people take the 3 remaining days off next week.

We sacrifice several holidays during the rest of the year- Presidents day, MLK, Columbus day, Vets - to get this. We used to get Patriots day off. (The holiday, not the team).

I'm off work from the 18th to the 2nd. We had a great time yesterday with the family and food and presents and beers. The only problem is my nose. My allergies have been getting worse the last several years, and now they are interfering with daily life, even with daily doses of Benadryl, Zyrtec and Flonase. I saw an allergist a couple of weeks ago. He scheduled me for a skin test on New Year's Eve. For the next 5 days, though, I can't take Benadryl or Zyrtec. I already feel pretty crappy. We'll see how crappy it gets before 2019.
