Doesn't seem like BS to me if you follow the court's logic. Cops need a warrant to attach a GPS to a car to find out where and when it moved. Likewise, they need a warrant to attach chalk to a car to find out if it moved over a period of time.That seems like a BS ruling.
My bet is that the judge has gotten tickets for that before.
