The wait is over!! I just heard Earl Baily announce that the new season of Buried Treasure starts this Thursday @ 8PM.

If you've never heard this, check it out, one of the best hours of radio ever heard on Satellite Radio.

Tom Petty's Buried Treasure

Thursdays 8 pm ET on Deep Tracks
Each week, Tom Petty pulls together a set of little-known musical delights and classic tracks alike — many vintage, each a treasure. He’s a Grammy®-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, and he articulately and passionately introduces you to his first love: the music. > Rebroadcasts Saturdays 4 am & 10 pm, Sundays 2 pm & Mondays 11 am ET

Note: If you're recording, set for 1:15- it usually runs over 5-10 minutes.

Here's a link to his playlists: TomPetty.com > News > Buried Treasure New playlists are not usually posted until a couple of days after the Thursday broadcast.

Thought I would bump this- Truly one of best hours on SiriusXM every week. He mixes all kinds of great tunes in with his comedic in-studio shenanigans. Airs Thursdays 5 pm on SXM 27. Rebroadcasts Saturdays 8 am & 10 pm ET, Sundays 2 pm ET & Mondays 11 am ET.

This would be a great new show to discover with the new On Demand feature. And while you listen, you can go here for the current playlist and a live twitter feed: Tom Petty - SiriusXM Radio
