Was glad they decided to add it to the radio lineup! Nice change from BPM.
There's a stream online that plays dance music from the 90's to today as Sirius66 The Beat with old Beat sweepers sprinkled in every so often. It's kinda like a mix of BPM and Utopia. Pretty good. Used to love The Beat back in the day when I had Sirius around 2003-2007.
Sunday Morning BPM turns back the clock with Utopia classic's without taking us back to Studio 54. A nice blend once a week. I still flip over to ch 341 on my phone and catch a few obscure hits from the 80's and 90's that didn't make a "weekly BPM top 20".
A hybrid version of Cher and related songs bridge the gray area of what could be considered a dance song for it's era. I imagine the producers want to evolve the playlist so the same core of songs aren't repeated as often as Sirius Hits 1.
My new office doesn't have a window close enough to set up an antenna, so I've been listening on the app during the day. Utopia is one of my presets. From time to time I'll notice a good song and switch over for a while.
