Nolan and Hamilton have had a good working relationship. I was wondering what watch was used in Tenet. I assumed it was Hamilton again but didn't know what model. I guess this is why:

I like the brown strap better than the black one but the black one has a meteorite dial. That's just cool. The brown one has a forged carbon dial and is just under $100 cheaper. And while not as cool as space rocks, carbon would match all the carbon Casios I already have. Check out that awesome lume! And with Athena I already have one Greek God in my life, so it's fitting to add another on my wrist.

Pretty much soon after I got obsessed with Island Watch, I started looking at off brands. I was obsessed with those too. But I never got one, because there was more to a watch than just looking a particular way.

You're mental......

I was watching an episode of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee after I got off the treadmill today, and Seinfeld was wearing what I think is this Breitling.

Hubba freaking hubba. This is the Breitling I lust after. If I hit the lotto, it'll be in my collection. All things considered, it's not stupid expensive, just very expensive at around $6 or $8,000.

People seem to love those vario navitimers. The Seiko and Citizen versions get a ton of love on a lot of the channels I watch. They just don't appeal to me.

Man, we gotta keep working on you.
That is an elegant machine of a timepiece.

If it makes you feel any better Jerry was wearing one of these in another episode.

Sweet! I had that Rangeman. That's the watch I sold that I talked about around here.

I'm not sure what version he had, but he appreciates variety.
It seems like he picks the car for the guest, and the watch for the car.

In my review of my Gravity Master G-Shock I don't think I stressed how cool it is to see the second hand ticking backwards in countdown timer mode.

The main hour and minute hands still tick forward to keep time like normal like normal but the second had goes backwards following the countdown that's set to the subdial. I'm doing laundry now and every week when I wash clothes or do whatever else that needs a countdown I get such a kick out of it.

And of course it hits all 60 ticks perfectly backwards just like it does forwards.

Does it also reverse time in this mode? Do you see time go backwards?

I bought my first ever items from Aliexpress. The half metal Casio Squares I love so much have an issue where the plastic part that connects the band to the watch isn't the strongest design in the world and it cracked on one of my watches. The band didn't fall off. I noticed it was a little loose but I only figured out it was cracked when I took the straps off to play around with swapping bezels with other watches.

Anyway I bought a new one on 9.16 along with some screen protectors for them. The new strap came in about 3 weeks and the screen protectors came yesterday. Not so bad. I've heard stories of it taking months for things to arrive. I haven't tried the screen protectors yet but the replacement strap looks and feels identical to the original. I know it's fake cause it was way cheaper than the replacements from some legit sites but whatever. The keeper has the same brushing and Casio logo too. So I'm happy.

I'm now thinking of buying the cheapest Square (it's $45) and buying a new strap and bezel and having some fun with it.

Isn’t putting a screen cover on it kinda like putting seat covers on a 1982 Pinto?

Lotta watches to turn back this weekend. Lotta watches.

What watches have you guys been wearing lately?

Since I'm only working part time these days I've cut back on my watch buying. The last one I bought was in the beginning of September. I still watch watch (hah, homonyms) videos all the time on Youtube though.

For the past couple months I've been wearing my GravityMaster exclusively. Well I wear my Garmin during workouts but that one doesn't count as a watch. The GravityMaster is not my most expensive watch but that's only because I got lucky and there was a great deal on eBay for it at $373 new. That deal is long gone. The cheapest you can find it now is for about $450 used. After that one listing the prices go crazy, from like $690-850. Casio's MSRP for it was $650. IDK, that makes me feel good.

I really dig my top-loaded, full carbon/titanium beast.

So once again, what has been spending the most time on your wrists?

This is my look most days.

If I actually go out to something social, I put on the Oris. Stainless and black rubber works for anything I do these days.
