"We the People" certainly sounds rather like socialism, doesn't it? Everything in our constitution is geared toward the idea is some form.
Without a parliamentary democracy, third parties are doomed. If one becomes strong enough to survive one of the others will die.
It only makes them mad when you try to explain that. Then if you explain that we wouldn't have Social Security or Medicare if we weren't already socialists they get even madder and say that's their money.
Most people prefer comforting anger to truth.
January, February: Several Democrats announce they're running for President. March: Several Democrats announce they're not running. And Joe Biden still hasn't said one way or the other.

I saw Joe Biden in concert in Madison at the Majestic Theater a year ago. My wife wanted to go, then that day (Sunday) she said she didn't have time to go, so I asked her if we we're going to go because I was going to go into to work myself to catch up on some things, she said she was sure she didn't want to go, so I went in and an hour later she calls me and said she has tickets to go see Joe Biden, so I had to come back home.
It was nice, we sat ourselves up near the front corner, I had two great slices of pizza and got his new book free.
