It's 100% officially, without a doubt, over.

The channel once known as XM High Voltage which carried "the walk over to XM" and reminded listeners about WOW and spreading The Virus is becoming Faction Talk. It'll have Opie and a Jason Ellis show and more.

Howard has Jason on in the past. It would be interesting to see if he has him on in the future. If Jason's show were to be promoted, Howard would essentially be promoting his old "rival" channel.

Opie and Anthony were once kings of XM. You could make the argument that they were kings of satellite radio, as Howard hadn't yet moved. They had O&A, Ron and Fez and replays of those shows all day. I see Ron and Fez are done. Fez still does a show on another channel with his daughter. Anthony...well, we know what happened there.

OH H.....EYE OH
Yes, those were the good ole days for sure. Actually, it is Ron (not Fez) on another show with his daughter. That would be a good trick if Fez had a daughter? :D

You're right on the daughter correction.

In an alternative universe, Playboy 99, Howard 100, Howard 101, Howard 102, Virus 103 would have been fantastic.

And now, Opie Radio seems to be gone entirely. His contract is up in October, but it seems like he's out early.

This would have been awesome: Howard letting bygones be bygones (yeah, a guy can dream, can't he?) and then a schedule system where THSS, BTLS, O&A, Ron and Fez and Ferrall are all live at different parts of the day with minimal overlap. The key would be to have some sort of O&A or R&F programming during that 11-3 timeframe between Howard and BTLS.

O&A and THSS live from 6-10.
WUS from after Howard until noon.
Ron and Fez from noon to 3.
Bubba from 3-7 with O&A replay on their channel.
Ferrall from 8 until 12 with "Ferrall Overtime" from midnight until whenever... if there is a good game running past midnight or whatever...I always hated how he would have to end at 11:57.
