I'm a real sucker for the 3-4 album run they had in the early-mid 80's. I like that stuff way better than their earlier, "classic" records. I was just listening to the new Fee Waybill solo album earlier today. They had several good tunes on the radio around that time.
It's a good song, and it is an interesting - I'd say odd - subject. It's about never having experienced bad or stressful things, and being glad you hadn't, because it would probably not be good, but hoping that you'd be able to handle it. Weird.#129 Mighty Mighty Bosstones "The Impression That I Get"
Overplayed but still fantastic. Love the subject of the song. Love how the harmony vocal track that would normally be in the background is up in front.
I think people are just picking up on the words "head" and "hole". This may need a Beavis & Butthead.
Sounds like he was a knob.@HecticArt I think the guy just assumed "bow down before the one you serve" just must be about a BJ, without really listening to the whole "God money" verses and such.
#126 Kansas "Dust In The Wind"
Bleak but beautiful. Good for when you need a perspective shift. Don't sweat the details, someday it'll all be insignificant anyway. Party on, Wayne.
