    Good:

Stevie Ray Vaughn, Lou Reed, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. All deserving.

    Bad:

No Nine Inch Nails, and it's a little early for Green Day isn't it? Great band, but not innovative. Certainly not worthy of first ballot.

Green Day is the most sucessful faux punk band of all time.

Cheap Trick, The Cars, Deep Purple, Los Lobos, Nine Inch Nails.

Janet Jackson I'm okay with, but not if she makes it in before Deep Purple.

The RRHOF is just one step above the Grammys for uselessness. Chicago's a first time nominee - nobody thought of nominating them before this year. And Yes still isn't in, but Green Day is. They inducted both Springsteen AND the E Street Band before even thinking about some of this year's nominees. Mind-boggling.

Janet and Chaka are scoring above Cheap Trick?
    My votes are in bold.

She'll get in because she's a Jackson. I'm a little surprised a band like Nine Inch Nails is scoring so low.

Janet and Chaka aren't usually what I think about when I think of rock, but I see the relationship. Someday for each of them, but I don't see a need to rush for them.

I picture NIN being more in line with the HOF, but Trent can wait till after some of the bands that have been slighted over the years make it in. (Purple, Yes, Bad Co., King Crimson, Tull, ELP, ELO, and a shload of others.)

Chicago, Cheap Trick, Deep Purple, Steve Miller, Yes and your mom. Sorry, I voted for your mom for the Big Fat Whore Hall of Fame.

She's in first place after his mom.

Yes. "Big Fat" is really an unnecessary qualifier.
