It feels more like this
Daylight saving time could be ending in California - Story | KTTV
If California decided to stay with DST year round, I'm sure Nevada would change, too
I am not opposed to eliminating the switch. I am opposed to standard time all year around.

As mention before I love not changing my clocks twice a year, once in a while it confusing trying to remember what states next to Arizona is on the same time or hour ahead or behind. I would like to see California do away DST, but just say if they did and if I cross state lines would Cali always be an hour behind Arizona now?
Don't forget everybody to change all your clocks an hour back, this Sunday.
Silly AZ people.

I was making sure you Canadians are awake.
So I guess we're supposed to do nothing?
That depends on whether or not you're east or west of the person talking.
Ironically, she HAS turned back time, by repeatedly removing all of her external skin.
More like, turned back humanity.
Report on switch to Atlantic Time Zone OK'd
Anything to get as far away from Trump as possible, uh?
This would put the northeast an hour ahead of the rest of the eastern US (including Washington DC) during EST. The problem is that while New England is clearly east of the rest of the eastern states, they want to include New York, and New York state almost goes into the central time zone.
We should just stay at DST year round
We should get rid of some time zones, not add more.
If we went to Atlantic time, essentially we'd be on eastern DST (EDT) permanently, so while it would add a time zone, it would eliminate changes.
