That's a good plan
If anyone cares, Nico Rosberg is world champion. It's the 3rd year in a row that the Mercedes team won nearly all of the races. Next year we get wider tires and different specs, so hopefully that'll shake things up.
Nico is taking his trophy and walking away. He's announced his retirement from F1. Quite shocking.
Now there's a seat available on the team that's won nearly every race for the past 3 years. Of course the season's over, so all the drivers have already made contracts for next year. This will be very interesting.
I read about that on Twitter this morning. Didn't think anything of it.
Maybe they can get this guy ...

Rossi is a backup driver for a lower-tier F1 team. Last year, he got to drive 5 races for them. So no, it won't be him.
What Rosberg is doing has not been done before - walking away from the top team as the top driver. No driver at their peak has just left the sport. He's still a young guy.
