I don't know why, but I find it stupid. If a team reaches the playoffs specially one was close to the World Series and the organization decided to get rid of them?

I can understand, if the team fails over and over each year to advance to the next round. But the manager is doing something right. But why not spend some more money on getting some better players or assistant coaches?

For the Sox and the Nats that was the case. Lots of $. Few results. In that scenario the GM is asked if he made bad picks or was his picks managed poorly? The answer determines who gets fired.

Now that just dumb, they won the WS last year. The almost made it again and now clean house?

With all of these coaching changes, I think some of the teams that made the playoffs this year. Probably won't return again.

It does seem rather rash for a team that's been playing so well for the last couple of years.

So much for whatever chemistry existed between the coaches and the players.
