The Royals sweep the 3 game series over the Tigers. The Royals take tomorrow off and then go to Boston for a 3 game series against the Red Sox this weekend.

They SCHOOLED the Tigers last night.
Damn.

The Angels got swept by the Indians. I was the Angels would be a little bit more competitive, but alas, they sucked hard.

Good luck to the Royals. I'm glad they went all in seeing as they might lose a few key players to free agency after the season

Place this in the too-little-too-late category.

Jays complete 4 game sweep of As at home. I think this is their first sweep of the year. They do it with 2 walk off wins. Wednesday down 2-0 in bottom of 9th. Smoak hits 2 run HR to tie. Morales hits game winning HR on very next pitch. Thursday down 4-3 in 9th. Morales hits game tying HR. In bottom of 10th Peirce hits walk off grand salami.

Sure would be nice if it was still April.

Steve Peirce becomes only the 3rd player in MLB history to hit 2 walk off grand slams in 1 season. He is the first to do it in 1 week. Jays score 7 in bottom of the 9th for their biggest ever comeback win (11-10) to avoid being swept. The Angels returned the favour after Jays blew a save opportunity giving up 3 in top of the 9th on Saturday to turn a 5-3 win into a 6-5 loss.
