Trippy video.

I got the Mrs a new Zep book for Christmas. It's a giant hard cover book of photos taken by the band over the years. Pretty cool stuff.

"I've felt the coldness of my winter
I never thought, it would ever go
I cursed the gloom that set upon us"

This is my absolute favorite song to play on guitar.
Weird guitar tuning = D G C G C D
But sooo rewarding to play.

Robert Plant's new band gave its first performance last month at SpArC Theatre in Shropshire and apparently will open for Fairport Convention at a February 16 concert in Bath -- in which case the gig is not really as "secret" as this headline claims:

Led Zeppelin legend Robert Plant to play 'secret' gig with new band Saving Grace, rumours suggest

I love Led Zeppelin. I listened to my uncle's copy of "Led Zeppelin II" when I was 5 and it blew my little mind. To stop me messing with his records he gave me that album for my 6th birthday, then "III" when I was 8 and "IV" when I was 10, I think.

I thought it was strange that Robert Plant kept his lemon in his pants pocket.

That was the first Zep album I heard too. My older brother - who was the source of every album we had - introduced it to me. But I had been listening to instrumental and progressive rock, and fusion jazz, so it was one of the first mainstream pop/rock records I was exposed to.
