99.9% of these videos would never happen if people would listen to police orders instead of being assholes.
So, let's say you were black, do you think you would've been able to go 4 years with a warrant against you without getting pulled over?

that has nothing to do with my statement you quoted. i don't deny there is an element of police racism. and yes black people probably get hassled more by police in general.

but my comment was in reference to a so called "beating" or "police brutality" video. i was saying that i very much doubt any of it would have happened if the person being questioned just followed police orders. he was being belligerent and physically refusing to comply. in my book that warrants a few pops.

it all hinges on how you act with the cop. even if the cop is wrong he still holds an element of power over you so it's best to simply be polite. nothing good can come of being a rude jerk.

and i was an outlaw for 3 years, not 4. ;)

The first guy getting beat on was yelling that he was God. He was high, crazy or both. Probably not God. You ever try to follow police orders while high and/or crazy?

That cop didn't need to beat the guy with a baton after two cops were holding him down. That didn't help anyone. That's just an out of control cop.

yes. well maybe not crazy, that can be argued by my wacky post history here, but high, yes. look up my police report. it says i blew a .4. that's major freaking blackout territory. but once the cops pulled me over all they report is that i was talkative. not combative or unwilling to comply.

My point is that those who are getting constantly harassed for no good reason, are also susceptible to irrational treatment, and often. You can't say "just cooperate" if you haven't lived that life.
