Playing an irresistible mix of today's best pop, rock, R&B and hip-hop, Radio 1 also features interviews with a distinctive British flair, extensive coverage of music events from around the world and exclusive live performances by some of the hottest artists on the international music scene.

The Radio 1 schedule is time-shifted by 5 hours for American audiences, so you can enjoy the lineup as it's heard in the UK - including The Chris Moyles Show in the morning, Scott Mills in the afternoon, and kicking off the weekend with Pete Tong’s Friday night Essential Selection.

Visit the BBC Radio 1 website for the full broadcast schedule, music news, special features and more.

    On Sirius 11, XM 29

    I love this channel :)

I get to hear a lot of good music that I would otherwise never hear. The fact that they have now started putting artist and song titles on this channel is great, although sometimes it doesn't always show up :worried:

The DJ's get chatty. And I mean down right chatty. News breaks are cool. It's nice to hear news from another country's perspective :)

    -1 for the chatty :right:

Besides that, I give this channel a 4 out of 5

I record the weekly top 40 on Sunday afternoons with Reggie Yates. The live lounge kicks butt to. Fav DJ's are Fearne Cotton and Edith Bowman. Their accents are cooler than their blond hair and good looks.

It's okay, a lot of bubble gum pop I usually don't listen to. kinda fun to listen to the DJ's and their accents. 3 stars

When I worked night shift for a couple of years, I used to listen to this. A good change of pace channel (different music than what I listen to). I need to listen more at work during day time.

    Three of 5 stars.

    December 31 - January 1
New Year’s Nation (SIRIUS Ch. 3, XM Ch. 23) will feature a variety of everyone’s favorite party hits to bring in the New Year with a bang.
