Today we get April 5, 2006. I think they played this last Saturday night in place of one of last week's FM replays which is normally played in that overnight time slot. The bit about Jeff the Drunk being on the chip over a Ned phone call is familiar...

 for not going back into the 2010-2009 vault.

Now, if only they could do something about "We're starting a new show on Howard 101, so you can follow the schedule that's posted on Sirius.com" Oh well, we won't have that bit of grammatical abortion in 2011.

The Wizard of IzOz is running again for the millionth time.

Its a good bit, but one that has been overplayed for sure.

It is nice to hear a show from the early Sirius days though.

I miss the 2006-07 days.

Agreed on all counts.

Bubba just talked to a caller and mentioned that he could be (could have been) doing his Friday shows from the various NASCAR tracks.

All the ball bustin' they (and Ferrall) did for Sirius really went to waste. I can see why he's on the outs with the company.

Just thought I'd share an ironic image from when btls.com was briefly up a while ago.

WTF?

"You're listening to a show at the forefront of the radio revolution. This is a show that goes where others fear to tread. This is the Bubba the Love Sponge Show."

Who dropped the ball? Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Last FM show before Thanksgiving 2009.

And Friday's show?

The "Henry & Yvette Call-In Show" from April 17, 2008. I think he spent the entire show on these two.

His name was Bubba
Bubba the love sponge...
And he has such a big ego.. and he's such a big asshole
He said let's do a show in chicago
and now we're out of gas...
and this show sucks ass.
It's Jabone-fest
In Indiana...i'd rather fuck goats in Montana.

My name is Nedly... Nedly Mandingo.

Glad I didnt listen much at all last week. I caught some of Mondays show and tuned out for the rest of the week.

I can't wait until 12/10, BTLS's last Friday show on Sirius|XM.

Its going to be a sobering reminder of why all good things must come to end eventually.

It's gonna be bittersweet. Last time on Sirius, but...if this radioio thing is to be believed, we get 2 hours a day (four days a week) of "2006 Bubba" with puss shockings, ball zappings, and all that.

Say what you want, but the "BubbaRaw commercials" beats "Bubba's news clips" and "Bubba reads the news."
