I've been saying for months I need to get back into golf and today I took the plunge. Went to the PGA store and got a starter set of clubs then took them to the range.

They are these:

Then I found a range near me to hit a few balls. Turns out I'm nowhere near as bad as I was anticipating. I used to play A TON...I was on my highschool team and then after that belonged to a local club in Abington PA and would go all the time...But all that was before my move to FL so I haven't really played at all since 2005. I may have gone to a range once or twice since then but I haven't played a course since my Philly days. Anyway, I can still hit the ball pretty straight so I'm off to a good start.

I'm tempted to play a round tomorrow at a local public course but idk, I should probably hit the range a few more times.
I gave up golf out of respect for the sport.

On July 3 I shared the video of Laurel and Hardy singing The Trail Of The Lonesome Pine in their 1937 movie Way Out West and today I see it now says "This video is private." Let me try again. Stan sings with a deep voice and then a falsetto. He's actually lip-synching. (Duh!) The real singers were Chill Wills and Rosina Lawrence. Canadian-born Lawrence also played school teacher Miss Jones in eight Our Gang shorts, 1936-37.

I'm full on back into golf and it only took 2 days. I just played this 9 hole local course:

it was $5.50. And yea it was not the best place. The greens were more or less dirt, but the fairways and tee boxes were good enough so for that price I'll go there a bunch to practice before spending real money at nicer courses. There was some guy there who was just getting into golf and we played together. So now I have a golf buddy. hahaha. We're probably going to play together again at some point.

Does Koop doesn't like my posts?

Playing golf is fun and an American pastime, unlike soccer. Even watching soccer is more or less treasonous. I'm sorry you hate your country Wolf.

Actually baseball is the American pastime. Watching golf is snooze fest. You should be sorry for being a traitor to your own country. Because golf was invented in Scotland.

My father loved to watch golf and was a big fan of Tiger Woods. He didn't appreciate me telling him how boring I think golf is: Hit a ball with a club until it falls into a little hole. Then hit it with a club until it falls into another hole. Then hit it with a club until it falls into another hole. Then.......

I wonder if he would have liked this video:

Since Koop claims to live in Miami with the Golden Girls. Yesterday he finally turned in his golf clubs for either an Argentina or Columbia jersey. As he can been seen breaching into Hard Rock Stadium for the Copa America Finals. Were you climbing the fence or in the vents?

Soccer fans are cool. I think Eagles fans are the closest Americans get to soccer fans. Maybe when the Raiders were in Oakland also.

If I grew up in Europe or something I would totally be a soccer hooligan.

OMG, I needed a good laugh. You think Eagles fans are closest to American soccer fans?

Probably the best American soccer fan cities are in Los Angeles, Portland and Columbus. There are quite a few others, but what I can see is they are very loyal. The Union fans of Philly only show up when their team does well. Don't say Miami are loyal, they are only currently big because of Messi and all of his buddies. Once they are leave in couple of years. The team will suck again.

Raiders fans are probably the most obnoxious fans in the league, next to Cowboys and the dumb tailgaters in Buffalo going through tables. I think Vegas sort of care less about the Raiders. I have been to Vegas many times, and I hardly see any Raider nation crap. I do know Vegas loves the Golden Knights and Aces.

Whenever the A’s move to Vegas. The fans will only show up because it’s something new there and possibly do well.

This is not at all the point I was trying to make. All soccer fans in America suck. We all know that because soccer in America sucks. It shouldn't even exist in our glorious country, but for some horrible reason it does.

In Europe where soccer belongs, the fans are insane and they are hooligans and whatever and I think that's really cool. You know they don't have real football so I feel bad for them in that respect, but at least they are incredibly loyal to the point where they basically riot in the stands. And that's awesome. And Eagles fans are the closest to that type of soccer fan.

Omg you are so delusional like Trump. Soccer is the fastest growing sport in America. I know team USA sucks. They didn’t do well in Copa America and the last Concacaf Nations League. But at least they are trying to turn it around. The fans don’t suck, only the ones that disrespected it.

All you think Europe are hooligans which they are not. They are Ultras. The hooligans you think of are all over the world, they like to burn down the stadiums. Which are not true fans! Europe does have real football aka soccer which we call it here. The NFL is trying to force it over there. Again, with your dumb Eagles remark. Since you think Eagles are the closest type of fan to soccer. Then check out the Charlotte Eagles which are in USL League Two.

At one point people said the same thing about Hai Lai.

:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

The hooligans you think of are in South America

England has hooligans. They are discussed and interviewed in that Hulu show where Deadpool and Always Sunny own a team and there's a great movie about them starring Charlie Hunnam and Froto. Green Street. Check it out, it's very good.
