It's still nice and warm down here but check it out. I just got a lightning sensor that I added onto my weather station. Look at the top right of the screen. It tells you when lightning last happened and how far away it was up to 40 mi I think or maybe 45.

And today is the first day it's rained since I've had the whole system, so it's very exciting to see that we've gotten 44 in of rain today.

I feel very well informed. Hah.

We're now past the 5 months of hot weather and onto the 7 good months (here) with a variety of temperatures between now and May.

Same, but I'm still not ready for it.

After a spring that was raining pretty much every day, we're in drought conditions now so the fall tree colors aren't supposed to be as nice as usual.

Halloween Night looks like it will be pretty decent. And it's cool that it will be on a Friday Night. After the kids get my treats, they could have slumber party or something fun.

We have our first actual cool weather of the season right now and yesterday. I need to remember this for next year cuz I always wonder when is it finally going to cool down so end of October is the answer.

Check it out with my awesome weather station that I definitely didn't waste money on to see the weather at my actual house as opposed to just looking at my phone or watching TV or going outside or using the internet.....

We got down to the '50s last night.

My tree is 75% bare now. It was /is a nice Maple red. Of the fall leaves, I like the red best then the yellow, then orange then brown. We have them all around here. I will be mowing the fallen leaves into the yard soon. This is a great fall season. I'd rate fall, then spring then summer and winter. But even winter can have its moments

Different here, because most of us like winter because it's better than the constant sticky hot of summer, and our winters are mild with occasional cold snaps.

I don't like the excessive heat in summer but summer is still my favourite season. Spring is my second because the hope for warm weather is coming. Autumn is third only because it is a reminder that winter is coming. And I hate winter.

20-30 years ago the ordering was different since skiing can only be done in the winter. Winter was then #1.

We're supposed to get our first snow of the season tonight and a bit tomorrow, maybe up to an inch, but it won't stick for long at all.
It'll be in the 50's and low 60's Wednesday into the weekend.

Everyone wants to spend summer here, so that's my favorite. Spring is good, except April usually sucks. Fall is pleasant and beautiful, but it's the death of nature, and the sun goes away. Winter is tough, but it can be fun too.
