Second. I remember him most from "Coming to America". I have seen him in the other roles but until right now did not make the connection.

Third. I loved Good Times – and a year before that series debuted, Amos played Merrivale College track coach Sam Archer in Disney's The World's Greatest Athlete. (Tim Conway played the coach's assistant.)

I'm updating September 2024 CDT and I thought he died yesterday. I see reports he died on August 21.
