Pro's and con's of each? If suggesting ruko, which one would you get and why?

I think I might have pretty well answered my own questions. Think I'll go pick up a ruko 3. Best part, Sirius is installed on it. :)

I would definitely choose Roku over Chromecast, just a heads up Roku will be introducing a Roku 4 soon. But what I read the only newest feature will be the 4k TV add on. I have no interest in the Roku 4, but since the Roku 3 did a price drop I'll probably buy one soon. I also own a Apple TV, but it mainly for people who have Apple devices.

I'm enjoying our Roku. It already has SlingTV and their in talks with Sony for their over the top streaming service which is supposed to go live nationwide by the end of the year. That's if your into that sort of thing.

SlingTV just got an HBO add on for live HBO channels and HBO Now. It's supposed to be live before Game of Thrones starts.

Here my small review of the Roku 3, even though it has like over 1500+ channels. So far I only have like 47 channels installed which are like the basic channels found on my Apple TV. Plus couple private channels, which I know about that is not supported by Roku. But probably this weekend, I will explore more channels but overall it alright. It would be nice if it had this one feature, a power button. The unit basically stays on all the time which has a energy save built in, but for now I unplug it from the back, when I am not using it. But it will come in more handy down the road, when I finally get away from cable and whatever else.

I went with Roku over Apple TV because they usually get channels quick. All I ever read online and through youtube reviews is how Apple makes you wait for some channels.

I also got that from some pretty big Apple fans that I know. I think if I bought more things from iTunes I would have went with Apple TV.

It all good, if I wasn't an Apple user I probably wouldn't own a Apple TV and bought the Roku sooner. Yea the Apple TV doesn't get as much new channels like the Roku does. But it doesn't affect me, I'm glad I own each one and plus I also have a WD Live TV which works perfectly with my WD My Cloud for my movies and tv shows I own.

Going to dig this back up. Is anyone aware of how to pair HD Cinema with Roku? You first have to install it on an Android device and then pair it through Roku. I know it can be done with Chromecast, but I can't do via Roku. Could just be that I'm missing something.

HD Cinema - Watch the latest Anime, Movie, TVShow, Cartoon in HD !

    Any help would be appreciated.
