abandoned stuff is cool. and stuff being built is also cool. i follow a few disney/universal focused twitter accounts and they are constantly posting pics of all the latest construction.

universal is building a water park.

here is a wide shot of disney's hollywood studios.

idk what that land clearing on the right is all about but i think the construction area inside the park in the middle left will be the new toy story land and bottom left/middle is where the star wars land will be located.

also note the epcot spaceship earth ball and the swan/dolphin hotels in the background.

more hollywood studios construction. they just demolished the honey i shrunk the kids play area to make way for star wars/toys lands. man i loved that place as a kid. it wasnt a very large area but they had the ant and all the grass from the movie. the best playground an 8 year old could hope see.

Wow. That sucks.

A guy got killed on one of my construction sites once.
He was standing on the back deck of a crane (which is a big time no-no) and got crushed between the crane and a concrete block wall. It turns out the guy had some pain killers in his blood stream that he was abusing.
