Time for the city to fire up the 6 snow plows. I assume your froufrou town has at least 1 plow for every 2 houses on your street.

Haha, I don't think they're plowing, but I thought I'd see (or hear) the sand/salt trucks. Either they decided it wasn't needed, or they did it before I got up.

But yes, we have a variety of plow trucks, including big dump trucks with multiple blades, and these big tractors with giant wheels and huge plows. During a storm, they come around about once an hour. I'll be sure to post a picture some time.

During the holiday break, we've had our nephew's in-law start some projects around our house. So far, he's done a skirt for the front porch. Aside from the visual appearance, it'll keep critters out of there.

For those who don't experience winter, a before-and-after from our first big snowstorm of the season.

We got snow. Then we got rain. Then we got more rain. Then we got a deluge. This was all from 8AM to 8PM yesterday. We have no snow on the ground anymore.

We got that overnight, and most of our snow has now washed away too.

We had the same crap weather yesterday too.
I spent 5 hours driving back and forth to a meeting through it. It pretty much sucked.

Snow, then rain, then sun. Yard still has snow but driveway is bare.

The day has come! Ever since we first saw our lot of land back in 2015, the road has been in dire need of repaving. And the time is now. They fixed some culverts, and are now repaving the whole thing. And soon after this is done, we're having our driveway sealed. So it will match the road.

Not as bad as the last several years, but yep.
One of em is for a bridge repair that a truck hit. So it's not the usual never-ending repave the same road every year.

It should have been pretty clear. You probably didn't even realize you were passing through town.
