I love this song. Hair bands need to make a comeback
Good song. Never heard it before
This is a great version. Never heard it until today
Sound of Silence
The version I hear most often. I love how the band joins in
Well Asia was an 80's supergroup that included members of Yes, ELP, and King Crimson, so to some degree it doesn't count. It's like saying "I don't know if it's The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, or Jack White". But the other thing about Yes vs Asia is that John Wetton's voice (in Asia) doesn't sound much like Jon Anderson's (in Yes). But some people don't care.
I'll admit it's a well-crafted song, and it would be likable if I never heard it before. But for me, it's an instant channel changer, because it's the epitome of easy-on-the-ears non-offensive generic adult contemporary filler, which gets played way too often on those types of channels or stations.
Apparently Koop's parole conditions prohibit him from contributing to this thread, so I'll post this in his place.
That's any song by Everclear for me
I figured Koop was too old for the Lion King soundtrack
True original pioneers. Get ready to bounce off a wall!
Gang of Four - I Found That Essence Rare
Once I get going, I just can't stop
Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground
Good song. Sounds like 70s punk
"Gang of Four are widely considered one of the leading bands of the late 1970s/early 1980s post-punk movement. Their debut album, Entertainment!, was ranked as fifth greatest punk album of all time. The album was listed by Pitchfork Media as the 8th best album of the 1970s."
But it ends in "ound."
Cool song. I probably heard it back in 1989, but haven't heard it since
