I picked up the game "Rage" yesterday and it's pretty sweet! this is the reason I got a console in the first place (about the same cost as upgrading my vid card to play this game). I am finding it a lot more natural than I remember when it comes to playing a first person shooter with something other than a mouse and keyboard. Fine aiming is still a little shaky, but overall control is very good. This is what has kept me away from consoles for so long.
